Everett K. Joseph âJoeâ Triplett, 89, of Upper Snake Spring Road, Everett, passed away on Monday, March 15, 2021, at Homewood at Martinsburg. He was born on Feb. 24, 1932, in Bedford, a son of the late Harper B. and Orpha L. (Wareham) Triplett. On June 28, 1953, he was united in marriage to Janet A. (Grimes) Triplett. He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Kenneth A. Triplett, in 1932. Joe is survived by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Richard, Robert, James, Greg, who was looked at as a brother, Betty, Charlotte, Nancy, Beverly and Janie. He was a member of the Everett Church of the Brethren and attended the Snake Spring Valley Church of the Brethren. ....
Buffalo Mills Samuel Abraham Garland, 88, of Buffalo Mills, passed away peacefully on Dec. 16, 2020, at home with his wife, whom he called Annette, and his home caregiver and cousin, Erica Bockhouse, at his side. He was born on Feb. 4, 1932, in Milligans Cove, Buffalo Mills, a son of the late M. Grace (Stouffer) and Carl W. Garland. Mr. Garland is survived by his wife of 32 years, Mary Annette Palmer-Garland of Buffalo Mills. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 35 years, Catherine Santangelo Garland of Norristown, and is survived by their son, Marc Vincent Garland of Singapore, and granddaughter, Shanna Aria Garland of Southampton, Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Carl Garland and H. William Garland of Buffalo Mills, and one sister, Carle Garland Huntsman of Bedford. He is survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, cousins, caregivers, neighbors, two brothers-in-law and their families. ....
