Nexans has started onshore work on the installation of 19km of underground cabling that will connect the SSE's 1075MW Seagreen offshore wind farm to the grid in Angus, Scotland. The cabling will link a new dedicated substation currently under construction in Tealing with the export cable landfall at Carnoustie. Installation is scheduled to be completed by summer next year.
