Somerset County took two more much-needed steps this week to address problems at its troubled 911 center.
Somerset County approved short-term contracts Tuesday with two retired emergency management administrators following an abrupt resignation by the county's new 911 director.
The 911 director position was just filed a few weeks ago and now the Somerset County staffer is leaving, along with the chief and assistant county clerks.
