Hampden Twp. names commissioner to fill vacancy

A total of 18 individuals expressed interest in the opening, board president John V. Thomas said.
She is a member of the township’s planning commission and veterans recognition committee. The latter matches her background, which includes U.S. Marine Corps’ Officer Basic School in Quantico, Virginia. A Marine veteran, her final rank was captain.
She also previously worked for PennDOT, where she helped to provide research, training and technical support to more than 2,600 local governments on fiscal management, project design and contract management. Among her accolades there were:
