Enough beating around the bush. It is time that we call out the band formerly known as Lady Antebellum for what they are: racist, white progressives. In case you’re not familiar with the story, the country group came under fire after it decided to change its name from Lady Antebellum to “Lady A,” in one of the most cynical and pathetic acts of virtue signaling that one can imagine.
Shortly after racial tensions hit a fever pitch after the death of George Floyd, the entertainment industry went into full “woke” mode in an attempt to show everyone how not racist they are and to avoid being on the business end of a cancel culture campaign. Lady A decided to preempt any potential canceling by changing their name due to its racial connotations.

Is a there any music group more offensive right now than the artists (and I use that term lightly) formerly known as Lady Antebellum?
Like many liberals and Leftist, the Grammy-winning Country music trio became born-again woke in the wake of the George Floyd protests, and decided to drop the “Antebellum”. They opted for “Lady A”, because of Antebellum’s connection to the Civil War. Antebellum/Lady A said on social media that “Lady A” was,
“the nickname our fans gave us almost from the start.”
“When we set out together almost 14 years ago, we named our band after the Southern ‘antebellum’ style home where we took our first photos. As musicians, it reminded us of all the music born in the South that influenced us[…].
