Allowing anyone to sue anyone involved in them seeking healthcare. it s frightening because this isn t going to be a one off. this is going to be copied by states like florida and other southern states because these southern governors are all in a footrace to be the most like donald trump. and to be the most outrageously far-right wing. so, it is frightening and it is an absolute human rights violation. what we are seeing happen to women in texas right now is that they are being essentially reduced to second-class status. really, third-class status. first-class status would be white christian men who are free to vote at will, don t have any restrictions on them whatsoever. second-class status in their mind would be um fetuses. people who don t yet exist. people who are not yet alive and women would be reduced to third-class status. they simply can only exist essentially at the whim of the state. that is not first-class citizenship. that is absolutely a human rights violation. now ....

Boy, how about this one, a big win for gun rights advocates, a federal appeals court ruling a ban on handgun sales to americans under the age of 21 violates a second amendment. the court ruled that the law relegated 18 to 20-year-olds to a second class status, a decision likely going to be appealed, likely going to be headed to the supreme court. and oregon and washington escalating to the highest wildfire prpedness level today. the most damaging wildfire is called the boot leg fire, that is in southern oregon, it has burned more 200,000 acres in a week. a lot of us that have already lost their homes that they know of, people like me are wondering if there is anything to go home to. i feel for the people that know ....
