The main kitchen at the Stamford Methodist Church in Barn Hill is used four days a week by Second Helpings as well as by a number of community groups and the church congregation. The Greater Delaware County Community Foundation has announced this year’s round of McGee Barr Grants. The grants are funded by the interest and earnings on the money left to the foundation by Garrett McGee, who specified in his will that the funds should be used to help the poor of Delaware County.
