Tainan, Aug. 25 (CNA) The Tainan City Police Department's Second Precinct on Thursday said it had started a fundraising campaign to assist the families of two police officers who were murdered while attempting to arrest a suspect.
Chief Smith said he wanted to talk about Dogwood Dell and clarify why he named Dogwood Dell as the location of the planned attack.
It came from one of the department's Automated License Plate Reading cameras, a controversial technology that records and stores license plate numbers.
Warren Pride, 62, was last seen on Aug. 1, 2022.
