HHS releases benefit and payment proposed rule for Affordable Care Act coverage
As open enrollment for January 1 coverage comes to an end on Thursday, the Department of Health and Human Services has released the 2024 Notice of Benefit and Payment Parameters Proposed Rule for the Affordable Care Act. To expand access to behavioral healthcare, the proposed rule includes two new essential community provider (ECP) categories in behavioral healthcare:
