Photo does not show collapse of ancient mosque in Larabanga, Ghana
One of two distinguished mosques in Ghana – both similar in appearance – collapsed on September 17, 2023. Not long after, a photo emerged online of a rubble pile alongside a claim that it showed the historical Larabanga mosque after it purportedly fell to the ground following years of government neglect.
