The Centre on Wednesday issued new guidelines for international arrivals as mutant variants of SARS-CoV-2 spread across the world. These will supersede all guidelines issued since August 2, 2020.
The central government has issued SOPs for passengers who will be arriving in India from the United Kingdom amid the concerns over the new Covid-19 strain. The SOPs include a mandatory Covid negative test report, RT-PCR tests on arrival and 14-day home quarantine.
