Trinity University sophomore becomes Elf Louise on this day in 1969
SAN ANTONIO - It was 51 years ago tonight that a San Antonio legend was born. A Trinity University sophomore named Louise Locker gave a simple Christmas miracle as she delivered hundreds of presents children in need in San Antonio. Elf Louise set to deliver presents with a pair of helpers back in 1978. (Courtesy: Louise Locker) And thus Elf Louise was born. The genesis of this unconditional act of kindness started with Louise watching the Johnny Carson Show late one night.
