AmeriCorps COVID-19 response seeking help tutoring K-12 students
ST. CLOUD — An AmeriCorps program created to ease the community impact of COVID-19 is seeking twice as many members this year, and will be focused on giving tutoring support to K-12 students over the summer. The Minnesota AmeriCorps Emergency Response Initiative launched during the first months of the COVID-19 pandemic and sent over 300 volunteers to aid organizations including St. Cloud-based Catholic Charities Emergency Services and Place of Hope.
