Santa-grams are being delivered to elderly people all over town as part of a campaign to share some festive joy.
Cards, pictures, letters and poems from schoolchildren, businesses and local organisations have been collected by Home Instead Senior Care and put into 400 parcels.
“It’s amazing to see the incredible thought, generosity and care put into each individual letter, poem, picture, donation and so much more, said engagement officer Rachel Jannaway.
“We have been absolutely overwhelmed by the amount of donations contributed to our Be a Santa to a Senior Santa-Gram campaign. In a year where older people may have had to spend a lot of time at home we can’t wait to bring some festive cheer to their doorstep. ....
