Article content Following the striking of a recent business deal, lithium mined near Separation Rapids near Kenora is set to make its way to a brand-new production facility in Thunder Bay. Announced on March 31, the deal will see lithium mined by Avalon Advanced Minerals Inc., located about 70 kilometres north of Kenora – sent to Fort William First Nation land in Thunder Bay for refinement.
