Two women share their heartache and their messages for those who are involved with gun violence. "How would you feel if it was your mother in this ground right now that you will never be able to see again," she said. "I can never  be able to see my mom again." Last month her mother was in the wrong place at the wrong time, shot and killed while she was driving. Now she has a message for anyone involved in gun violence:

The years Sequoya Carpenter had with her mother were too few — far too few. But at 19 years old, Sequoya has built enough memories of her mother, Latoya Renee Carpenter, to last a life time. The mother who would often go outside to play hop scotch with her three daughters. The mother who would buy a 1,000-piece puzzle and solve it in the course of a night. The mother who always wanted to be included in the "boy talk." “My mom was a happy, spirited person,” Sequoya said. “She was a mother, but she was more of a best friend — she was both.”
