Man denies smuggling nearly 40g of methamphetamine into Manawatū Prison
Police found a range of items in his car, including weapons, drug paraphernalia, multiple cellphones and $5680 cash, before taking him to the Palmerston North police station. They found 2.8g of meth in a bag in his top pocket when he was searched at the station. He was taken to Manawatū Prison in a van with three others after a court appearance, where officers conducting a strip search found a 3g bag of meth.
