If you lost track of the debt ceiling and budget battles t came out of the debt limit deal. It was the white houses idea to hold washingtons feet to the fire. The cuts were never supposed to happen. The committee that replaced them failed and at the start of the ewe near, the deal triggered even further until march 1st.
