Community Calendar of events taking place in Kingston, Ontario

Researchers at Penn State’s High-Pressure Combustion Laboratory on the University Park campus will conduct a series of ongoing small-scale detonation experiments over the next few weeks that will each generate a loud noise. The next test is scheduled to occur between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Friday, May 27.  

Due to the winter weather forecasted for Friday night into Saturday and throughout Saturday, a "Midnight Clear" for ice/snow removal has been declared for Friday night, March 11, and Saturday night, March 12, at University Park.

Due to the winter weather forecasted for Thursday evening, a "Midnight Clear" for ice/snow removal has been declared for Thursday night, Feb. 24, at Penn State's University Park campus. As a result, parking will be prohibited at all faculty/staff surface parking lots on campus, including Innovation Park, from midnight Thursday through 7 a.m. Friday (Feb. 25). This restriction includes University vehicles and applies to all employee work shifts, regardless of reporting time.
