Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued for two Central Texas Counties until 1 pm KXXV and last updated 2021-05-17 13:28:10-04 LAMPASAS COUNTY â A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Lampasas County and Burnet County until 1 pm. At 10:57 am, a Severe Thunderstorm was located 13 miles southeast of San Saba, moving east at 20 mph. There is a potential for quarter to half dollar size hail. Damage to vehicles is possible. While one hasn t his College Station since 2006, the city is learning from the recent tornado that hit Bryan and Franklin, that they can cause significant damage to structures, as well as cause injuries and in some cases deaths. On average, Texas sees about 137 tornados every year and as a result, the city is urging its residents to have a plan in place in the event of one of these natural disasters. ....
