(MURFREESBORO) Crews from Murfreesboro Fire-Rescue responded to a kitchen fire call at 9:50 PM Friday night (7/7/2023) at 1906 Shafer Drive. That is between St. Andrews Drive and Cason Lane. Engine 9 was the first on scene and that crew extinguished the fire quickly, keeping it in contained to the kitchen.
