Training aircraft crashes in Rajshahi A two-seater training aircraft crash landed and nose-dived at Shah Makhdum Airport in Rajshahi on Saturday afternoon. The accident took place around 3:00pm and the on-boarding instructor and a trainee pilot escaped serious injuries. Airport security supervisor Abdul Matin confirming the matter said, “It was an aircraft of Galaxy Flying Academy.” The aircraft has been damaged. "They are safe and unhurt," she said. The crash occurred at 3:06pm when the flight, a Cessna 152 aircraft of S2-AFK model hard landed on the northern part of the runway, she said. The nose wheels broke, creating an alarming sound, and then the aircraft's right side landing gear broke, our Rajshahi Staff Correspondent reports, quoting the airport manager.
