A 35-year-old Madison man died and a 23-year-old Madison man was injured in a two-vehicle accident on US 421 north of Madison Sunday night. Robert Ray Goins was pronounced dead at the scene while Nathaniel T. Farris was seriously injured and transported to an area hospital for medical treatment after the vehicles they were driving collided just south of the entrance to the former Jefferson Proving Grounds shortly after 7 p.m. on Sunday. The car did not stop and, during the pursuit, missed a curve and hit a concrete wall.
