Florida pharmacists win primaries for State House seats

Two pharmacists who are candidates for the Florida House of Representatives will advance to the November election after winning their primaries last week. Shane Abbott of DeFuniak Springs, a pharmacist and owner of The Prescription Place, is running for the House District 5 seat. Gallop Franklin of Tallahassee, a pharmacist and professor at Florida A&M University's College of Pharmacy, is running for the House District 8 seat.
