Kensington races: Regally-bred Nordicus primed for a first-up win
With no prospect of a stud career, Australia’s best bred gelding - Nordicus - is going to have to race his way to breaking even with his lofty $900,000 price tag starting at Kensington on Thursday. Nordicus, a son of Triple Crown winner Dundeel out of Golden Slipper and VRC Oaks winner Miss Finland, resumes in today’s Longines Sprint (1150m) for trainer Anthony Cummings.
