A woman was found dead inside a house that caught fire early Monday in Ridgewood, police said. Sharon Maes, 66, was found dead in the living room of her North Pleasant Avenue home, the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office stated. The fire started in the kitchen at about 1 a.m., but the cause remains under investigation. The cause of the fire does not appear to be suspicious, the prosecutor's office stated.
