Dangerous driver crashed into parked cars after police chase
Shaun Eldred A DANGEROUS driver who hit speeds of 90mph on Bolton roads was caught after he crashed into parked cars. Shaun Eldred was spotted by police using a mobile phone while driving his girlfriend's Vauxhall Corsa on Bury Road, Bolton. But after initially stopping for officers, the 37-year-old, who was banned from holding a driving licence, sped off. Bolton Crown Court heard how, during a pursuit, he hurtled through four sets of red traffic lights, drove on the wrong side of the road and reached 90mph on roads which had 30mph limits.
