Unprecedented Opioid Epidemic with Drug Overdose deaths having quadrupled since 1999. According to the cdc, there were an estimated 107,000 Drug Overdose deaths in the United States in 2021 with approximately 75 of those deaths or 80,000 coming just from opioids. That is a rate of almost 220 people dying each and every day from opioids.
