Evert Gysen peacefully went home to be with his Lord and Saviour on September 4, 2023, at Hogarth Riverview Manor. Evert was born in Doniaga, Netherlands on May 17, 1938 and immigrated to Canada in 1949 with his parents and 4 siblings.

She was fortunate to have had family by her bedside as she took her final breaths at TBRHSC. Giuseppina was born March 20, 1926 in Oratino, Campobasso Italy to Cristina Mastrangelo and Giovanni Melideo, whom passed away on April 16, 1977 and October 2, 1975 respectively.
