The Kerala High Court on Wednesday denied anticipatory bail to a man running a restaurant that was accused of selling an adulterated shawarma (meat-based wraps) which led to a customer's death.
The direction came in an interim order while the court was considering a case filed by a woman whose daughter had died last year of food poisoning, which was suspected to have been caused after she ate shawarma from an eatery.
