Barr, Strode excel on Cuba Archery Team By Deb Robinson/Canton Daily Ledger Editor CUBA Extracurricular opportunities are abundant for youth. Aside those that quickly come to mind, such as football, volleyball, basketball, etc., there are also those some may not be aware of. Shay Strode and Drew Barr are student/athletes at Cuba High School. The two are members of the Cuba Archery Team and have attained a multitude of achievements in a sport that typically doesn’t receive a lot of recognition. Strode is an 18-year old senior, “I joined the Cuba Archery Team when I was a freshman. I joined archery to be with friends and archery seemed like it would be a lot of fun,” she said. ....
