C20 Society challenges unnecessary and wasteful demolition of major bank buildings
The corner is a playful reference of Soane’s Tivoli corner at the Bank of England in London Plans to demolish the Bank of England House, Bank House and Norwich Union House in Bristol and erect three office buildings in their place, with shops, bars and restaurants at street level are being strongly opposed by the Twentieth Century Society.
