Shell, Sembcorp Marine and Penguin International MoU signing Shell is to trial hydrogen fuel cells on ships in Singapore through a project with Sembcorp Marine and Penguin International. The three companies inked Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Wednesday on a project to retrofit a hydrogen fuel cell onto a Penguin  ro-ro vessel. Mar 17 2021 Shell signed agreements to charter ten new crude tankers powered by dual-fuel liquefied natural gas (LNG) engines. Four of the very large crude carriers (VLCCs) have been chartered from Advantage Tankers, three from AET and three from International Seaways.
