Traffic stop leads to drug arrest Bucksport Police Log Week of March 18 BUCKSPORT — A traffic stop on Main Street Sunday resulted in the arrest of a Brewer woman and the seizure of crack cocaine, oxycodone and another drug, Deputy Police Chief David Winchester reported. Officer Ryan Welch stopped the vehicle because of a defect he noticed. After an investigation, Welch arrested Sherry Bedard, 47, of Brewer on three counts of drug possession. “A fairly significant amount of crack was seized,” Winchester said.
