Spring is around the corner and the Bancroft Area Stewardship Council are helping get gardeners ready. They say they have begun their annual Tree and Shrub Program. Ian Hendry, Chair of the Council, says the program has grown year over year, saying they were able to sell 8,000 trees last year despite the pandemic, with most trees are sold to residents in the area. Hendry says the money raised will go to local projects. This year they plan to donate a butterfly garden to the Centennial Manor for the residents to enjoy.
