Operator brought the train in here, they have a known signaling problem here which requires a work-around from time to time, called a bypass. to get a bypass, you have to have that authorized, you have to set the brakes on the train and then the operator's allowed to get out of the train to set a switch. apparently what happened yesterday, the operator had to perform a bypass, got off the train, set the switch, and then the train creeped away. apparently neither of the brakes were set. there's a throttle in this train, when its natural position in the operator's hand isn't on it, it is off. th...
