The land, covering about 59 acres on Western Avenue, Riddlesden, is currently open space. Riddlesden Golf Club announced in 2016 that it was to close after nearly 90 years in existence, due to declining membership. The Keighley News reported at the time that two greenkeepers and a steward would lose their posts with the closure.
