Heavy lift job to place air conditioning unit on Sheriff's Department & Jail roof | Local News
It was a heavy lift job on Tuesday morning to place a large commercial size air conditioning unit atop the Jasper County Sheriffâs Department & Jail at the corner of Burch & East Milam Streets. Silverback Services, which operates in both Jasper and Odessa, used a crane truck to hoist the unit to the roof. Once on top of the building, a crew from Doug Williford & Son Air Conditioning performed the task of installing the unit. The air conditioning unit is one several that provides cooling and heating to the 32,000 square foot building.
