Omoyele Sowore, the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) in the 2019 and 2023 general elections have participated in the annual Lagos City Marathon, traditionally organised by Access Bank in collaboration with Sowore himself. The marathon, featuring categories of 42 KM and 10 KM, unfolded across Surulere, Lekki, and Victoria Island on a Saturday morning. Notably, as the 52-year-old Sowore commenced from Lekki Phase 1, his ultimate destination was the finishing line at the Eko Atlantic venue for the award ceremony.
