WORK is set to begin to turn a former Greenock west end care home for adults with severe disabilities into flats for social rent. Maclehose Court closed down last year despite a heartfelt campaign by residents and families to keep it open. The building will now be converted into 22 individual flats, with some kitted out for people with disabilities.
