Stars Appeal funds new simulation training programme
£78,000 of Stars Appeal funding has provided a second lifelike ‘Sim-Man’ manikin and an artificial lung. Simulation-based education provides doctors, nurses and other health care professionals a realistic and immersive form of training enabling them to learn together whilst caring for simulated patients.
