For the third time this year, the sole survivor of a deadly police shooting in November has been arrested and jailed on felony drug charges, reports News 6 partner Florida Today.
Jacquan Kimbrough-Rucker, 20, was the surviving passenger in a car during a shooting in which two teenagers were shot and killed by a Brevard County Sheriff’s Office deputy. State Attorney Phil Archer issued a statement in April that the deputy’s use of force was justified and that no criminal charges would be filed. ....

Civil rights attorney Benjamin Crump, accompanied by attorney Natalie Jackson and the families of A.J. Crooms, 16, and Sincere Pierce, 18, held a press conference on the lawn of the Moore Justice Center in Viera announcing a lawsuit he filed Thursday night against Deputy Jafet Santiago-Miranda and the Brevard County Sheriff s Office. Pierce and Crooms were shot and killed in a traffic stop in November. Crump and his counselor Steven Hart, along with attorney Natalie Jackson, represent the families of the two Cocoa teens, Angelo A.J. Crooms, 16, and Sincere Pierce, 18. ....
