That was the chant outside of ProMedica Toledo Hospital in west Toledo on Saturday as demonstrators advocated for the adoption of single-payer healthcare in the country.
Typically, in a single-payer healthcare system, there is one government-run insurance carrier that covers everyone in the country regardless of their ability to pay. ....

LAKEWOOD, Ohio Advocating for its Medicare for All position, Single Payer Action Network of Ohio (SPAN Ohio) has scheduled statewide walks for May 22.
This includes a Lakewood event beginning at 10 a.m. at Kauffman Park, which will continue east on Detroit Avenue.
Scheduled to speak is Laura Rodriguez-Carbone, Midwest regional outreach and communications lead for Combat COVID, who also is currently the co-chair of Lakewood’s Anti-Racism Task Force. ....
