Approval was being sought for a flexibility of uses within the tenancies, with office space up to a maximum of 960sq m, health care services and food and drink outlet to a maximum of 580sq m and a shop up to 500sq m. The federal government has awarded financial grants to regional-based telcos Concerotel and Zetifi, as well as NBN Co, to trial voice services across Australia. The telcos received grants under the $2 million Alternative Voice Services Trials (AVST) Program, which was led by communications minister Paul Fletcher.
