WEATHER REPORT AND TIDES It'll be a warmer day on the Coast after patches of rain recently hovered over the region. The sunny conditions will bring a maximum temperature of 27C for Maleny, 29C for Maroochydore, Caloundra and Noosa Heads and 30C in Nambour. There was a slight chance of showers earlier this morning, but residents are expected to enjoy the clear skies throughout the rest of the day. Low tide was at midnight at 0.40m and high tide will reach 1.78m at 6.45am. The next low tide is scheduled for 1.18pm at 0.60m and high tide at 6.43pm at 1.28m.

Severe thunderstorms have the possibility of smashing the Sunshine Coast today after intense rainfall flooded parts of the southeast overnight.
