Robo-adviser Stockspot received a $28 million funding boost from a global fund manager that will see it expand its capabilities in the precarious digital advice landscape.
Mirae would own just over 50 per cent of Stockspot in a deal that was expected to close on Wednesday morning.
The investment platform was launched in 2016 and offered do-it-yourself access to 10 portfolios. On Friday, the company said it was unable to scale as needed.
