World's Longest Slide to Open in Eplény
As a collaboration between the Síaréna Ltd. and Pannon University, a gigantic, 1.5-kilometer long slide will be built in Eplény this summer. The project managers’ dream is to open the world’s longest slide in Hungary. Intersport Síaréna (Ski Arena) Eplény announced in a Facebook post that together with the Economy Department of Pannon University, they are creating a large-scale, all-season tourist attraction in Eplény. The slide will operate both in dry and wet mode, and by sitting in a special boat, everyone, regardless of age, will be able to slide down and stay dry.
