New Bedford High School to Expand Marine Technology Program New Bedford High School has landed a $250,000 state grant to build a state-of-the-art Marine Technology Laboratory. The new facility will prepare students for careers in marine and maritime industries. Skills training will be provided within the school’s Career Vocational Technical Education Program.
