People in Ingleton will pay the highest council tax in Craven HOUSEHOLDERS in Craven will pay about £60 per year more in council tax in the coming year, with people in Ingleton paying the highest at £2,050. Craven District Council - in possibly its last budget setting - agreed an increase of £5 per year to its part of the tax from April. THIS old photograph is of Dobson Family Chemist which was on the corner of Jerry Croft and Skipton High Street. There is no date to the picture but the young tree sapling in the foreground is likely to be one of 14 lime trees planted along the high street to celebrate the diamond jubilee of Queen Victoria in 1887.
