Jewett City Savings Bank Foundation awards grant funds Staff reports The Jewett City Savings Bank Foundation recently awarded grant funds to support health services organizations, local libraries and emergency service providers. The foundation granted $8,500 to support health services organizations. Receiving grants were United Community & Family Services, $5,000; Connecticut Cancer Foundation of Old Saybrook, $1,000; Day Kimball Hospital of Putnam, $1,000; and Griswold PRIDE, $500.
